Keeping Up with Social Media When Life Gets Busy!

back-to-school (1)

Back to school, back to work, back to busy schedules and early mornings. As we get busier this time of year, social media can often get pushed to the back burner and that’s understandable. It can be hard to tweet, pin, follow or post every day, let alone multiple times per day.

One of the most important things to keep in mind when it comes to social media marketing is that anything you put out there is a reflection of your business. That said, when you’re short on time, it’s better to be really great with one or two social platforms, than to be mediocre or sub par with numerous platforms.

Facebook is a simple social platform to keep up with and everybody uses it. Posting once a day is great, and if you can’t do more than that it’s okay. Twitter is another story. To be successful with Twitter you need to post numerous times per day and interact with others so if you’re short on time it’s probably not the best place to focus your energy. Pinterest is a great place for anyone in eCommerce so if you only have time for one social platform, make it a priority. Just be sure to pin a variety of things in addition to your products.

Because I’m sure you’re busy with kids, work, sports and other activities I’ll keep things short – Simply remember quality > quantity. Never stretch your marketing efforts too thin.
